Dave Cran
The twinkling Irishman would be the first to admit that he is no natural cricketer. But he makes up for this with a wily combination of nagging line, and an exuberant batting style that infuriates bowlers. Once took three wickets in an innings to clinch a key match on the epic Brussels tour (see Allen, Jonny), despite being barely able to open his eyes following a night on the Leffe.
A born tourist, Dave is normally to be found giggling into his Guiness by 9, but normally recovers a second wind when the 80s music comes on. A fiercely competitive footballer, he tends to react badly when nutmegged by more versatile team members.
