Duncan Cross
Dunc was a founder member of the Strollers in 2002, but for some reason he then turned his back on the team, and apart from one surprise appearance in 2004, he has barely been seen since. A lot of teams would not be able to overlook this disgraceful act of treachery, but the truth is, the Strollers would welcome back Crocker anytime.
He is a tricky "spinner" that no batsman likes to face (getting out to him usually results in at least a month of mickey taking). An enthusiastic batsman, he has stated his aim for 2005 is to get his batting average above 2.5. He is a fine fielder, and those with long memories will remember fondly his catch on the boundary to secure a fine victory over the Ramblers in 2002.
Dunc's passion and gusto are a huge plus to any sporting side and he provides endless entertainment both on and off the field.
