Neil Allen
After making his debut for the Strollers in 2004, Allen will hope to feature more prominently in future seasons.
An enthusiastic cricketer, Allen is perhaps best known for his chat, best deployed close to the wicket in the field. Allen has often, perhaps unfairly, been described as "a trundler" when bowling, but his nagging slow-medium deliveries have outfoxed various "batsmen" in his time. Despite a tendency to step away from the ball, Allen´s full range of golf shots can make him a valuable tail-ender.
Could teach Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger a thing or two about "mind games".
